Noni's store in Savage Mill. You have not lived till you visit her shop. She is awesome. The picture below is from a show that she did. but you will want to make EVERYTHING you see when you go to her store. Oictures do not do her work justice. AND next door is her sister, who has all the hardware you could ever dream of to finish Noni's bags. And she is designing a gorgeous needlepoint design bag herself
using worseted weight yarn.

I went to my first Homespun Party on Sunday. It was the best time. All my knitting buddies were there and there was yarn and crocheting and knitting and beautiful weather and beads and NONI. My excitement was almost like the first time I walked in Stitches in Valley Forge, Pa. And Savage Mill is just gorgeous. It has everything you could want including food, beer & wine.
Hats off to the Ralvery team for putting this together and shame on me for never going before Sunday.
What did I buy ... from Neighborhood Fiber Co, I bought two skeins of Cooper Place and two skeins of L'Fant Plaza to go with two skeins of a similar colr I bought from BrookFarms last year at Sheep & Wool. In my head i am designing a shadow knitting style Kimono. It might make it to paper this summer, now that i think I have enough yarn to finish.

Shirley Paden Comes to Maryland to present her Knitwear Design Workshop
In the Author's Words....."The purpose of this book is to explore the various techniques involved in designing handknitted garments with a perfect indivdual fit. It is for handknitters at any level who want to free themselves of commercial patterns and design their own, from traditional garments to stunning works of wearable art. It is for those who want to experiment with garment shaping, those who want to write commercial patterns, and those who simply want to understand or make minor modifications to commercial patterns. The only prerequisites are to be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide!"
Now if you know me you know that this is my dream. Cables AND Red, I can't wait to get started. 2KraZKnitters, me & Melodye are bringing Shirley to Maryland June 4th for a book signing followed by a class on June 5th. Limited enrollment for this round so respond quicly to Melodye at Mbray54@comcast.net or myself at anneceperry10@gmail.com
What is that song, "Heaven .... I'm in Heaven ......"
Hope to hear from you soon.
